FLAGSTAFF, AZ (October 12, 2017): The Northern Arizona Multi-Agency Officer Involved Shoot Team is investigating an Officer Involved Shoot at Walmart, 2601 East Huntington Avenue,

On October 12, 2017 at approximately 9:48 PM, Police were called to the parking lot of Walmart located at 2601 East Huntington Avenue in response to a report of a white male subject brandishing a weapon. Officers Pat Condon, Dustin Hemp, and Ryan Sherf arrived at 9:51 PM. Officer Condon called to the suspect asking him to show his hands and exit his truck. The suspect pulled a handgun and began firing at Officer Condon. Officer Condon took cover and began returning fire as did the two back-up officers, each firing his weapon multiple times. The suspect vehicle rolled forward colliding with a light pole. The officers created a perimeter until a team of SWAT Officers could be assembled to cautiously approach the vehicle safely.

The suspect was removed from the truck and medics attended to him ultimately pronouncing him deceased on scene. The suspect was identified as Sean D. Brady, 29 years of age, of Flagstaff, AZ. Officers noticed two rifles, a handgun, boxes of ammunition and several spent casings inside his truck.

The Multi-Agency Officer Involved Shoot Team was called to the scene to investigate. The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office has been identified as the lead agency in this investigation.

No officers were injured in the exchange of gunfire and the three officers involved in the shooting have been placed on administrative leave in accordance with protocol.

This investigation is in its initial stages and more information will be released as details become available.

FLAGSTAFF, AZ (October 12, 2017): The Flagstaff Police Department is investigating an Officer Involved Shooting at Walmart, 2601 East Huntington Avenue, tonight at approximately 9:51 PM resulting in the death of an unidentified subject.

On October 12, 2017 at approximately 9:48 PM,m Police were called to the parking lot of Walmart located at 2601 East Huntington Avenue in reference to a report of a white male subject brandishing a weapon. Officers arrived at 9:51 PM and called to the suspect. The suspect shot his firearm at the Officers. The officers returned fire killing the unidentified suspect.

The Northern Arizona Multi-Agency Officer Involved Shooting Investigation Team has been called out to investigate this incident.

No officers were injured in the exchange of gunfire and the three officers involved in the shooting have been placed on administrative leave in accordance with protocol.

This investigation is in its initial stages and more information will be released as details become available.
